ANACORTES — Jackson Griffin and Noah Irish had Lakewood’s only two hits as the Cougars dropped a Class 2A District 1 non-elimination game.

Wyatt Pevny pitched six innings and took the loss for Lakewood (6-13), striking out five.

Lakewood will play Bellingham (9-12) in a loser-out game Saturday at 10 a.m. at Daniels Field.

MUKILTEO — Haylee Kim went 3-for-4 while Alexa Bradley and Emerson Cummins each homered as Lake Stevens topped Kamiak.

Charlie Pugmire picked up the win in complete game for the Vikings (14-2, 4-1), striking out eight with one walk, allowing eight hits.

Scarlette Chapman went 2-for-4 with a walk for the Knights (14-4, 2-4).

BOTHELL — Nyree Johnson homered and added two doubles as Lynnwood fell to Cedarcrest.

Kali McCloud and Briar Knoth split the time in the circle for the Royals (6-13 overall, 2-11 league), while Cedarcrest (11-7, 7-6) notched two home runs in the contest.

Snohomish 6, Everett 5 (9)

SNOHOMISH — Avery Clark and Camryn Sage each had two hits as Snohomish edged past Everett, clinching the Wesco 3A/2A league title.

Emery Post had the walk-off single, scoring Zoey Lynch in the bottom of the ninth.

Abby Edwards pitched all nine innings and struck out 13 for the Panthers (15-5 overall, 14-0 league), allowing nine hits on two walks with two earned runs.

Haylie Oyler went 2-for-3 with a triple, two RBI and two walks for the Seagulls (13-5, 10-3).
